In the wake of the triumph of his directorial venture 'Leo', Lokesh Kanagaraj is poised to make his debut as a producer. The filmmaker recently unveiled his personal production venture, christened 'G Squad.' On the 29th of November, Lokesh divulged the title of his inaugural production, a cinematic creation titled 'Fight Club,' showcasing director Vijay Kumar in the lead role.
Lokesh, the visionary behind one of India's top-grossing cinematic endeavors, 'Leo,' has ventured into the realm of production with the establishment of 'G Squad.' In tandem with this revelation, Lokesh also shared the initial glimpse of his maiden production through a captivating poster.
Taking to the platform X, Lokesh expressed, "A new beginning. Super kicked to present #FightClub featuring @Vijay_B_Kumar machi and gang. Directed by @Abbas_A_Rahmath. A #GovindVasantha Musical @GSquadOffl @reel_good_film @reelgood_adi (sic)."
The impending release of 'Fight Club' is anticipated this December. Orchestrated by debutant director Abbas A Rahmath, the musical tapestry of the film is woven by the skilled hands of Govind Vasantha.
Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj's most recent endeavor was the magnum opus 'Leo,' featuring luminaries like Thalapathy Vijay, Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mysskin, among others.
His upcoming project involves steering the ship for Rajinikanth's 'Thalaivar 171,' backed by Sun Pictures. Speculation hints at the inclusion of Raghava Lawrence and Sivakarthikeyan in pivotal roles. The production gears are set to turn by March or April of 2024.
